Widespread and long term peace for everyone is in technicality, not humanly possible. Humans are functioned in a way that we are never fully satisfied with what we have. The grass is always greener on the other side. However, it is necessary that we always aim to find peace. I say that peace is equal to happiness, and it is true that everyone cannot be happy. Unless, we as a species can try to attain a sense of togetherness. We can do that by first solving human problems through changing human attitude. Not only are people so separated into different groups, and stereotypes, judging people by their race, culture, skin colour, sex, or ethnicity. But also to try and lessen the corruption, creating a well functioning government, gender equity, less wage disparity, and other problems. Secondly we must preserve and respect Mother Earth. A person’s happiness is also linked to their environment, after all. Our economy is based on resources we use off of earth; oil, coffee, food, ncjkfencej. Environment and climate protection for need-based economies will work out best in the long run.
Of the many problems we face today, some are natural calamities and must be accepted and faced with equanimity. Others, however, are of our own making, created by misunderstanding, prejudice, jealousy, and other negative emotions, can be corrected. One such type arises from the conflict of ideologies, political or religious, when people fight each other for petty ends, losing sight of the basic humanity that binds us all together as a single human family. We must remember that the different religions, ideologies, and political systems of the world are meant for human beings to achieve happiness. We must not lose sight of this fundamental goal and at no time should we place means above ends; the supremacy of humanity over matter and ideology must always be maintained. Charles Darwin believed that humans have a natural capacity to feel empathy, behave altruistically and experience a satisfying and meaningful existence. Whether or not we express the capacity is influenced by external factors. Cultural change could open us to becoming more peaceful still.
(Para 2: unless like there’s a good well functioning government with low levels of corruption, and have a good justice. )
Our society could become more peaceful if resources are distributed more equally, and children are not raised to believe that war inevitable. We live in an era of social upheaval which can be seen as an opportunity for transformative change, toward the kinds of cultures that support a more equitable, caring, and sustainable way of life. A theory is developed after years of researching the causes of violence in society. A peaceful society can be described as having a more democratic organization, the male and female halves of humanity are equally valued, both are taught for caring and nonviolence, regarding it to be a high priority, and institute a low degree of built-in-fear and coercion. Dennis Morgan of The Centre for Global Nonkilling adds that it is "only when humans learn to live in harmony with their environment and each other that the principles of nonviolence can be activated in a very real way. In such an environment, killing becomes unthinkable."
We all have a direct link to the Earth and its ecosystem to which we are a part. When the life of the Earth is spoiled, our lives are be spoiled. A major shift that has been found may be occurring in the basis of human thought and discourse. On an individual level for example, around 20% of Europeans have been found to deeply care about "ecology and saving the planet, about relationships, peace, social justice, self-actualization, spirituality and self-expression". It has even been said that there is an "explosion in empathetic behaviour." A symptom of the change may be seen in the growing appetite for plant based diets; around 10% of the population of Israel, Sweden, Italy, and Germany, are now vegetarian or vegan.
